- How is Isles different from a traditional study-abroad agency?
- Traditional agencies tend to step in right before graduation, at the most anxious moment, and sell a short sprint-style service. Isles starts in the first year and helps students explore and test career directions systematically, instead of making a fear-driven choice at the last minute. We do not sell anxiety and we do not promise offers — we help you build the ability to make good decisions.
- When can I start? Do I have to wait for a particular date?
- Isles runs rolling admissions, so you can start whenever you are ready. After you sign up we schedule an orientation, then you move into the coursework and group matching. Live sessions run on a fixed recurring calendar, so you join at your own pace.
- Which year and which background is this for?
- It is mainly for Chinese undergraduates studying in the US, especially first through third year. Large university or liberal arts college, STEM or humanities — if you are unsure about your career direction and want to explore it more systematically, Isles is for you. High school students can also start exploring through the free tier of the app.
- Can parents be involved?
- Of course. The Isles Network WeChat mini program has a dedicated entry point for parents: they can share career resources, follow how the program is going, and receive key updates. We encourage families to take part in the decision while respecting the student's space to explore independently.
